Keeping up....

I have discovered that if you aren't in the ministry or just REALLY dedicated that it's flippin hard to keep up a blog. To the puny number of you who actually read this blog of mine, I'm sorry for being so slack with updated posts. I'm a school teacher, so give me a break!

Speaking of school, today is my last FULL day of school for this school year...thank you JESUS! I will have to say that the transition from PE to the classroom has been a rather smooth one, but then again when you have an awesome team like I do it's pretty hard not to glide through the year. Here's some random thoughts from my first year in the elementary school classroom:

-I DIDN'T miss having to tie shoes all day every day.
-Most of the time when kids say they feel like they are going to hurl.....THEY ARE!
-I've mastered the art of the copy machine.
-Budget cuts SUCK!
-I absolutely could not have asked for a better first year class.....THEY ROCKED, and I will miss them ALL very much next year.
-The year FLEW by....I'm still trying to figure out where it went....
-My wife is AWESOME. She was VERY helpful to me during all my mental breakdowns, and when I had no clue what to do with some school stuff....THANKS BABE!!!
-Next year I feel like I will be a MUCH better teacher.
-I will ashamedly say that I look forward to decorating my room again next year....don't hate!
-God really answered A LOT of prayer throughout this year. I'm always amazed at how well he takes care of me.
-I will probably value this summer more than any other, and at the end my boy Crew will be here!!!!!!
